Mid century modern. California pottery. Turquoise and platinum. Sascha Brastoff. What a great combination!

This set includes a large divided platter in Brastoff's very popular "Surf Ballet" pattern, with a marbleized turquoise and platinum design. The large 12.25" platter is divided into 4 areas, 3 for holding chips and munchies plus a smaller round area that holds the dip bowl. The small bowl measures 4 inches wide across the rim and 2 inches high.

The platter has no chips or cracks, but there is some heavy crazing, shown in the closeup photos. The small dip bowl does not have crazing, but there are several small glaze flakes to the rim (areas on the rim where the turquoise glaze has flaked or been chipped off, again shown in the closeup photo).

The bottom of each piece has a gold rooster (chanticleer) logo with "Sascha Brastoff | California | USA."
