Note:

1. Please use lower power (eg. 25x) when viewing objects at a close range. This scope is designed for viewing targets at medium to long range, but not too close to your eye. Please consider a smaller scope such as NIPON 12-36x50 for viewing objects in the back garden.

2. The scope can be rotated in its tripod-mounting collar so that you can observe the target from different angles or heights, a useful feature for prone shooting, for example.
3. The red cover under the main scope body is the nitrogen filling point. Please do not try to open this cover.
4. This scope comes with a table-top tripod, but it can also be mounted on large tripod which can be ordered from this store (free postage for the tripod when it is sent together with the scope package). Please ask for a combined invoice if you wish to include the large tripod in this scope package.

5. One of the amazing features of this spotting scope is that it can be used with a DSLR camera adapter to take photos of your observations. This is a rare feature for spotting scopes of this range. One of the images in this listing shows an example of how a DSLR camera can be attached to this spotting scope using the adapter set. However, please note that the camera and the adapter set are not included in this package. You can purchase an adapter set that matches your camera’s make and model. If you want to buy a DSLR camera adapter set along with this spotting scope, please contact us with your camera’s make/model and we will send you a combined invoice. Alternatively, you can order the DSLR adapter set from the Nipon Scope store (contact us for a free postage coupon if you want the adapter sent together with this scope package).

For user selection of mobile phone adapters, the outer diameter of the zoom eyepiece is around 36-37mm.
