This is Wedgwood bone china demitasse cabinet coffee cup & saucer is of stunning quality. The beaker cup sits in a fretwork silver handled sleeve made by the esteemed Sheffield makers of Walker & Hall. The silver is dated 'u' for 1937 although the Wedgwood pattern is likely to be of an earlier date. This Persian inspired pattern was likely designed by Millicent Taplin who is documented as producing Persian designs for Wedgwood in the early 20th century. It is in excellent condition with no chips, crack, crazing or repair and has immaculate clean gilding on both pieces. The saucer measures nearly 12 cm in diameter and the cup is 6.5 cm high also. The silver shows even and original oxidisation. Please email me with any questions and do check out my other listing. Thank you for looking.
