Antique Opulent Cabinet Teacup and Saucer; Pink Roses and other colourful flowers on gilded Gold base. London Shape; batwing handle but no makers mark; I believe this to be Spode. PLEASE NOTE CONDITION:

The teacup is in very good antique condition: Completely clean; healthy ring; no chips; no cracks; no crazing; no hairlines; excellent paint to the florals and the outer and inner bands of gold; with rub wear only on the handle and top rim.

The Saucer however has historic repair; with lead staples; (see last five photos: the lead does not show on the front) Despite that - it still retains a healthy ring! I’d soaked it in water overnight and the glue held. There is rub wear to the saucers gilding. No other issues. Makes a wonderful cabinet duo.

Saucer = 5 1/4” inches wide (13.5cm)

Teacup stands 2 1/4” inches tall (5.5cm) excluding the protruding handle. Brim width 3 1/8th” inches (8cm)

(The Minton Strawberry plates in photos 5 and 6 are NOT included in this listing; I have a separate listing for them. Taken for my Instagram ‘Noories Vintage’)
