Absolutely beautiful marine blue. 1 large covered button at neck. ( possibly used to be a 2nd accent button, or button was moved over?) Only noticeable on close inspection. Flowy, wide 24” long sleeves with a 9.5” opening. 2 side slash pockets. Lined with what I believe to be silk ( 99% sure) in same beautiful color. Very clean and cared for. I searched all over for flaws, holes, soil. Only 1 extremely small “dent” (wouldn’t even call it a hole) in upper left sleeve, and 1 of same description in middle back, under a natural fold of fabric. Both are Not detectable without my glasses.

I could not find any comparables made by Chatmoor. I did, however, find another EBay listing with a book about the company. Chatmoor Garment Company Inc. was on 40th street in NY in the 40’s. They specialized in simply tailored gabardine coats and suits.

I tried this coat on, and almost kept it. However, I don’t have the lifestyle to wear it. 😟 I’m guessing that it’s about an 8-10 in size. A generous 22” pit to pit. Please see pics.
