What a cute little guy! My research determined this is a vintage Shawnee purple blue spaniel planter made in the 1940's. There's beautiful detail in the design which I tried to capture in the photographs. She's in good condition and doesn't have any chips in the finish or abnormal wear in the glaze. Fits a small plant...about 1 inch in diameter.
