Plate: approx. 15x19cm. -- well preserved. || Very rare copper engraving by JA Böner from 1702. -- in very good condition. || Johann Alexander Böner was a Nuremberg engraver, draftsman, etcher and art dealer. Böner was a student of the Dutch draftsman and engraver Matthias van Somer. He was particularly known for his Nuremberg city views and traditional costumes. His Nuremberg views still have a high historical value today and often show buildings that are no longer or have been used today. only exist in modified building structures.
