The watch has been owned and treasured by one owner and on the few occasions when the battery required changing since 1979 it has only ever been sent to the Rolex authorised service centre to have the battery replaced,along with servicing and case pressure tested as standard part of the service.It comes with its most recent credit card size service guarantee card and the earlier type Green card certificate from the time when the watch last had its major service and overhaul as routinely advised by Rolex on any of their watches older than 10 years . It keeps to perfect quartz accurate time as you would expect from a well maintained Rolex. For a watch of 45 years vintage age it is in very good pre-owned condition without any detrimental marks. The strap is in good strong order noting some light cosmetic scrapes to three of the links (which can be polished out). All boxes, cases and paperwork are in very good condition.

The battery has recently been replaced with a new battery in April 2024 by a Rolex authorised service centre. (Rolex confirmation receipt provided).
