On April 8, 2021, the Oakland Athletics visited the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park for the Astros’ Home Opening Day. It was the first time in 526 days that the Astros played in front of their home fans.

Cole Irvin started for the A’s, while Cristian Javier went for the Astros. In the bottom of the fifth, Alex Bregman led off by grounding out to Matt Chapman. Yordan Álvarez followed with a solo home run. Carlos Correa walked. J.B. Wendelken replaced Irvin on the mound. Kyle Tucker doubled to Mark Canha. MYLES STRAW THEN WALKED TO THE PLATE WEARING THIS JERSEY!! Straw singled to Seth Brown in RF, scoring Correa and Tucker!! The Astros went on to win 6-2, also getting hits from Jose Altuve and Michael Brantley.

This jersey is MLB Authenticated as worn by Straw for the Astros’ Home Opening Day on April 8, 2021. The jersey is white with dirt (clay) stains all over the front. It has ASTROS across the chest and Straw’s number underneath. The back has Straw’s name and number (plus some more dirt). The left sleeve has an Astros patch. The jersey is size 44C (I’m not sure what the C means.) with minus one-inch sleeves. Thank you for purchasing!!
