You are looking at the Ford Top Loader 4 speed transmission from a 64 Galaxie w/ 390. Was rebuilt about 3 years ago at Kulp’s Transmissions in Shamokin Dam PA for a project that is now staying automatic. Sorry, I do not have a receipt for the work that was done. The gears look original so at minimum, it has all new seals, bearings and synchronizers. The ID tag is HEH-D. It has a 10 spline input, 28 spline output. Case is cast # C4AR-7006-A W1. Tail is C4OR-7A040-A. My Hollander interchange book says this tranny is a direct fit replacement for 1964 Galaxie and full size Mercury, with S code 390 GT engine. Will also be a good, bolt in replacement for 63 Galaxie in place of the T10. This tranny is ready to use.
