This is an original press photo. The Reverend Samuel Hill Ray, S.J., will celebrate his 60th anniversary in the Jesuit Order Wednesday in New Orleans. The priest is now stationed in Shreveport, but has many friends in this city, where he served as a teacher and spiritual advisor at Loyola University from 1933 to 1955, and as a chaplain in the Navy during World War II. Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 10-10-1970.
