dominated the Cine world – SANKYO. This
particular example is one of their sleek, modern black designs, the Sankyo 700. Built to last with solid Japanese
engineering and high quality parts. This projector was dominant in the 1980’s
because of its quality of sound and steady picture reputation. Its die cast
main body makes for a very professional and well-made machine. And the sleek
styling holds up even today as a well thought-out piece of media equipment for
the semi-pro and amateur cine enthusiast.
Sankyo paid additional attention to their projector models. The amazing
high frequency output these machines could re-produce was amazing at 24fps.
