A substantial original collection of early stamps in 'ye olde' Cromwell album (printed c.1900) with much of interest throughout and plenty of better stamps. This album looks to be in un-tampered condition and largely 'as collected' over 100 years ago. The vast majority of the content is 19th century with a few later and nothing really after about 1918. A delightful antique object, offered as received from local deceased estate. Stamps are mounted with hinges, both old-style and 1920's glassine types (hardly any stuck down in this album). Condition as always is mixed - most do look sound but some will have imperfections, so please assume 'mixed quality' for the purposes of the auctions. Album is actually remarkably sound and complete.
