                                                                            pair of Regency master salt bowls.

                                                                                           

                                                                          Crafted as re-creations of the famed

                                                                                          Warwick vase.

                     Briefly, this was an ancient Roman marble vase, with Bacchi decoration, discovered in 1771,

 

                                           the inspiration for Georgian silversmiths to re-creation in sterling.

                                                                 One such vase from the hand of Paul Storr.
