Beans, Bullets, and Black Oil by Worrall Carter 1953 WWII navy fleet logistics.  "This is not a study in logistics. It is more a story of logistics.  It is a story about the logistic services supplied to the U.S. naval forces in the operating areas in the Pacific, 1941-45."  A rare find.

Coincidently, I donate 10% of proceeds to the Maui Food Bank!

Book is in Good condition with general wear, shelf wear, age toning of pages, bumped corners, an outward crease along the spine, slight spine lean, and previous owner's name stamped inside front cover and on bottom of text block.  Binding is sound.  Giant fold out map is untorn and in great condition.  Please see pictures as they are considered part of the condition description.  I take numerous photos of the actual item and describe it as accurately as I can so you don't have to risk your buying decision on stock photos and generic condition descriptions.

A portion of this sale goes to a food bank in honor of my father-in-law who ran a food bank.  Many people experience hunger on a regular basis and they rely on food banks.  Thank you for supporting them with your purchase.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: If you are unhappy with any aspect of this transaction, please contact me immediately. I will work hard to keep buyers happy and to resolve the rare problem promptly.

QUALITY PACKAGING: I care about your purchase!  I package books and DVDs protected in plastic sleeves for water protection and wrapped carefully for safe and secure shipping.  There are cheaper, easier, and faster ways to package items for shipping but the risk of damage during shipment is not worth it for you or me.  I’m proud of the positive feedback I have received related to packaging.

USPS MEDIA MAIL: I ship books and DVDs by USPS media mail.  Media mail is generally reasonably fast, but can rarely take up to 8 days, so please be patient.  Shipping outside of the U.S. is handled by the eBay Global Shipping program.  I ship to the eBay international shipping clearing house in Kentucky and eBay takes it from there.  eBay adds on the extra cost for international shipping and I have no control over that cost or how long it takes.  eBay should give you a shipping estimate/total on the listing page for your particular order.

POSITIVE FEEDBACK: If you believe you would be happy to purchase something from me again in the future, please consider leaving me positive feedback for this purchase as it really helps small eBay sellers like me.  I leave feedback for buyers once they have posted feedback for me – let’s do this together!

Enjoy!
