Beautiful vintage cookie jar! Mary Engelbreit, Chair of Bowlies. From one of her early art designs. Features a black overstuffed chair with plum color trim and a pattern of green vines. The seat is stacked with bowls and cherries. Painted ceramic. Glossy finish. Measures 8 3/4" L x 8" W x 10" H. No cracks or breaks. Has a few very tiny nicks, some have been paint-matched and fixed. Close-up photos show the nicks. A few mfg. paint defects. This is from my own collection. Purchased new. Never contained cookies. Only used to hold spices. I do not have the original box.
