Interesting old mallet/hammer. It's got a metal core and wood handle and wood on the working end of the head, both sides. The head on the blunt side has a little play back and forth. It's not loose but you can pull it forward a very little amount. It does have a tiny stress crack. It may be pressed on or screwed on I am not sure because I would think it's meant to be replaced with use. The other edged side is tight. It's 11-3/4" tall. The head measures a hair over 7" end to end. It's 8.9oz total weight unpacked. Comes as seen in pics. Any questions just ask.
