A nice September 3, 1950 cancel from Helena, Montana on this Airmail cover that was sent to Middletown, Pennsylvania where it was backstamped on September 28, 1950 and received an unusual "Returned" auxiliary marking from the Mail Unit of the Army Directory Service.  The cover was returned to Helena, MT where it was again canceled on October 5, 1950.  Interesting and attractive historic item.  Fine condition; sharper than the image may appear.  If the image does not readily appear, please try hitting your computer's reload or refresh button while viewing the item.
