Description of item for sale: This antique Gothic revival desk/library table is from France and it dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's.  It is quite versatile and can also make a perfect dining table with room for 4 closed or 8 with the leaves extended.  As a desk, either or both leaves can be extended when you need additional working room.  It is made from solid oak and finished to a warm dark color.  This desk is in very good antique condition with minor nicks and scratches.  In particular the top is slightly irregular with lots of shallow scratches.  Also notice that some separations that have opened down the center of the top and the leaves from normal shrinkage of the wood as it aged.  Dimensions: 86" long open, 51" long closed, 43" wide and 29-1/2" high.  (9129)
