Vintage 1970's Black Hills Gold Man's Watch - All Original, Needs Battery - Untested

I picked this up in an estate lot and it appears it may never have been worn.....the plastic peel is still over the crystal and the stretch band still quite nice with excellent stretch and very clean on the inside of the links when stretched out to look.  I believe it to be circa later 1970's.  The watch was not in a watch case or protective bag, but sold with some other jewelry in a man's dresser case that had a couple rings I was after.  There are some fine scratches, mostly on the case back.  The watch is not presently running, and I've not taken it to a jeweler to be tested.  Most likely it just needs a battery.  The turn knob is operational and moves the hands and date appropriately.  Sold as-is in present condition.

It feels weighty and substantial and the 12 kt tri-color design on each side of the face is in very nice condition and complements the sparkly gold dust face.  The case is marked stainless, water resistant to 100', and the movement made in Japan.  The stretch band is also stainless and marked Hong Kong.  In all it appears to be completely original with original parts.  The back stamp is marked G. CO., STER (assuming for sterling), and 12K so I believe the tri-color gold pieces are mounted on a sterling base.  I have not attempted to clean or do anything to it.  I'm not a jewelry expert, I just go by what I see and read and try to mention it and provide enough photos for you to study and bid accordingly by what you see and your knowledge base.  No claims or warranty, sold as-is, as-found.
