CALUMET "Double-Acting" Baking Powder, 1/2 Lb, nearly full
4 1/8"T x 2 3/8"D. Sold individually.

No specific date or even decade. General eBay consensus is 50's/80's.
A "The Shining" movie "still picture" shows "Johnny" in the hotel pantry with several of these same tin designs, albeit larger cans, behind him. :-)

One of mine has "10" on the lid in Magic Marker. The bottom is stamped "8170", lending to Aug 1, 1970, from other date stamp researching. "General Foods Corporation" printed on the can.

The other has glue remnants of a price sticker on the lid. The bottom is stamped 3156, possibly March 1, 1956.  "General Foods Corporation" printed on the can.

Disclaimer: Then again, the numbers stamped on the bottom of each can may be "run batch" numbers..., NOT dates.

Calumet Baking Powder Co was sold to General Foods in 1929. General Foods was purchased by Philip Morris in 1985, who then acquired Kraft Foods in 1988, rolling them together into Kraft General Foods in 1990.

Shipping via Ground Advantage same/next day.
Sincere thanks for visiting :-)
