I am already biased as a fan of Lillian Too, and it appears that Ms. Too is including her daughter Jennifer now as her co-author for the Year books on Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology.

In keeping with all of Ms.s Too's many books on Feng Shui this Dragon 2010 book has an easy-to-read graphic layout and chunked and broken out into very manageable sections to read.

While the book does stand on its own completely, it really does help to already have a bit of a foundation and grounding in Chinese Astrology and especially Feng Shui. One of the really helpful items Ms.s Too provides is a chart for each of the Dragons based on your own best directions based on your Number with an asterisk to quickly synthesize the information and let you know of those directs have afflictions (Feng Shui terminology which will be made more apparent to you in the book) in 2010. 2010 is the year of Tiger in Chinese Years.

Since there is no "Look Inside" yet provided by the publisher, I'll just let you know the sections so you know best what is inside to make your purchase decision. Of course, out of respect for the Ms.s Too' intellectual property, I will refrain from being too specific.

OVERVIEW - TIGER YEAR
Part 1: Outlook and Luck for the Year
Part 2: Interacting with Others
Part 3: Your Monthly Forecasts (I will be returning to this definitely throughout the forthcoming year)
Part 4: Updating Your House Feng Shui (including if your Animal direction is not one of your number directions discussion and guidance)
Part 5: Dragon's Personal Feng Shui Luck

Fans of Ms. Too's 168 Feng Shui series, this is not a photograph illustrated book. It has some illustrations which are pen and ink. All are helpful. This book just is a bit different than that series. It serves a different purpose.

A really helpful reference guide for the Year 2010 Year of the Tiger for those of us who are Dragons.

I find Lillian Too's yearly animal horoscope book to be very informative as compared to some others that i have also bought. She gives the details of the location for the good and the bad, she gives the monthly forecast and also lots of other additional tit bits for the ever eager. I believe all the feng shui authors wants the enthusiast to buy more of their product but Lillian does a wonderful job at not too overly doing this part in her book. Although she recommends a lot of cures and stuffs to buy but the reader will not feel that she is overly marketing her products specifically as one other author i have read does.

Overall this is a good 'entertainment' reading (i do stress entertainment) I have been an avid feng shui practitioner and one thing for all newbies to bear in mind is that in one year there are 365 days and each day has 24 hours. So, noting that there are 5 elements in the chinese feng shui, there are actually (365 X 24 X 5) 43,800 different types of roosters. Even though Lillian Too does a good job at separating the different types of roosters according to age, we have to bear in mind that within the same ages of roosters there are also different roosters according to the time, date they were born and their elements. So, please note this while reading this book and enjoy the fun of feng shui.
