       A very long running series featuring the adventures of Fred Fearnot and his friend Terry Olcott in school, out west, anywhere there was adventure and wrongs to be righted, including Fred's endless campaign against the evils of liquor.  Work and Win was one of the Tousey publishing empire's premiere titles.
       This is an original nickle weekly, not a reprint.  The magazine has orig bacov replaced by plain paper, spine and part of outside frocov reenforced with old scotch tape which has turned yellow, stain along bottom right edge and up from right corner that penetrates to increasing lessor degrees thru five inside pages, wear bottom corner. (see illo).  This series is rare and difficult to obtain in any condition.
