These homemade bookends feature two teal Hemingray 42 glass insulators, made in the United States before 1940. The insulators were originally used for telephones and now serve as unique and functional bookends. One end has a top broken away (see photos) but the insulators screw onto both bookends. The brand, Hemingray, is well-known for producing quality glass insulators, and this set is a great addition to any collection.

The bookends have a vintage charm that would look great in any room. The teal color of the insulators adds a pop of color to any bookshelf or desk. These bookends are a great conversation piece and are perfect for anyone interested in history or vintage decor.
