Hand Sewn Medicine Bag with Turtle Shell Amulet (Comes from Red Earred Slider Turtle NOT ENDANGERED). Medicine bags are used to hold ofjects that are Sacred to You.

I have designed and hand sewn this medicine bag out of soft buttery Deer leather. I have beaded around the flap of the bag with #6 glass beads and clam shell waupum. On the flap of the bag is an approx. 1 2/4"  X 1 " Turtle amulet that I have sewn on with glass beads and cowie shells hanging from it. The flap of the bag is approx. 2 3/4" wide by 3" long.
The bag measures approx. 2 3/4" wide by 4" long with an additional 5" with the unique hand twisted fringe and 1/2" brass cones. There is a leather thong approx 22" each side attached to the bag so you can wear it around your neck. The color of the leather is smoke color, it may be a little lighter or darker than shown in picture.

Small amount of sage is placed inside, and the bag has been cleansed with sage to bring peace to you and your family.
