Important information.

Please read the below information & the listing carefully.

·         Please check your tyre size carefully.

·         The DOT is the week and year of production-so, 3621 is week 36 in 2021.

·         The minimum legal tread depth is 1.6mm.

·         We measure depth using an electronic gauge and over the width of the tyre. The depth on the listing is the lowest reading.

·         Tyre tread depth is measured to the bottom of the grove.

·         The wear bars are generally set at 1.6mm, therefore, if a tyre is listed for example, as having 7.6mm tread depth then the usable tread before the legal limit is reached is 6mm (7.6mm - 1.6mm = 6mm)

·         Except for Commercial vehicles, taxi's (in most locations) and busses, there is no legal age limit on tyres-however it is important that the tyres have been stored correctly and are not showing signs of degradation or damage.

·         All our tyres are visually inspected then pressure tested to their rated maximum pressure, and further visually checked on packing.

·         The wheels inner surfaces should be clean, free from rust and old rim sealant-wire-brush if required.

·        Please remember that these tyres are part worn and NOT NEW and as such will have minor non-structural markings knicks, scuffing etc. We do not make the tyres look nice and pretty by coating them in tyre shine etc but we make sure they are road legal and safe.

·        Postage is charged at cost-we do not add a margin to it.

·        We do not charge extra for posting to the Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, however it normally takes 2 to 4 days longer for delivery.

·        We always provide a tracking number. In the event that no one is in to receive the delivery the carrier may leave it in a safe place. Failing that it will be taken back to their depot and a card will be left giving you instructions on how to arrange for redelivery or collection.

·        We are unable to deliver to The Channel Islands, Republic of Ireland, BFPO or any overseas destinations.

Terms and conditions

New tyres

We comply with the current distance selling allowing returns up to 30 days after purchase.

This is only applicable to NEW tyres and NOT part worn tyres.

To be eligible for return the tyres must NOT have been fitted to a rim/vehicle and not have been used or damaged in any way, and be as despatched i.e., brand new with all labels etc attached. 

We do not accept responsibility for damage during fitting-please ensure that your tyres are fitted by a qualified professional tyre fitter.

Any faulty tyre will be returned to the manufacturer for investigation. Their decision is final and may take up to 12 weeks.

All refunds will be subject to deductions for carriage costs (at cost to us).

Should new tyres listed on our sites go out of stock, we will advise you of the expected date that they will be back in stock. At that point should you wish to cancel your order then there will be no charge,

Any new tyre found by the manufacturer to be faulty will be refunded in full by the original method.

Part worn tyres

PART WORN TYRES MAY HAVE PUNCTURE REPAIRS AND OR MINOR NON-STRUCTURAL MARKING SUCH AS RUBBING, KNICKS ETC. THESE DO NOT IN ANY WAY IMPACT ON THE SAFETY OR SERVICABILITY OF THE TYRE. ALL TYRES HAVE BEEN PRESSURE TESTED AND INSPECTED. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ACCEPT RETURNS WHERE A TYRE HAS BEEN FITTED TO A RIM.
