Rare Antique Baby Doll SP Sonneberger Porzellanfabrik 2542/1 c1900 Sonnedberg Germany

From the internet:

'The Sonneberger Porzellanfabrik factory was owned by Carl Müller in 1883 in Sonneberg, Germany. By 1893 this factory was making bisque doll heads. They made bisque socket or shoulder heads of black or white Baby or Child dolls. According to Cieslik’s Encyclopedia of German Dolls the Sonneberger factory stopped making doll heads in 1913, now specializing in producing porcelain locks for beer bottles. About 1920 they appear to have resumed making dolls under a new owner Edmund Fleischmann. Mr. Fleischmann left the firm in 1930.'

She is in very fair vintage condition, her eyes are missing but there is rattling in the head so maybe they are inside. She makes a slight noise when tilted, she measures 32cm high.

Please view all photos to see the condition. Can for size comparison.

********* Please note my postage and packing information. ***************

I believe my prices are fair but do take in to account the cost of the postage, packaging materials and time spent packing items which is included in the price. All items are packaged well to protect them from damage in transit.

All items will be sent by a tracked parcel service requiring a signature or Royal Mail recorded and signed for delivery. Please do not ask us to use an unsigned service or cheaper carrier as we are very conscious of the postal service that we provide. If you are purchasing from outside the UK, please note that we only send overseas using the eBay Global Shipping Program. The International Global Shipping program charges you for the international shipping from a central point in the UK and also includes import taxes.

Please consider the additional postage costs and import duties that Ebay applies to your order as these CANNOT be combined. I have no control over these fees and unfortunately I cannot change them.

********* Please study the pictures as the pictures form part of the description. ***************

I try to show all of my items in a fair way to show any imperfections etc. Please also note that the colour you see in the picture is as close as i can get to real life, however, please remember that monitor and computer settings can make colours look brighter, duller or completely different. Lighting can also make a difference to colours too and i do try to photo in good daylight without a flash. I aim to sell all of my items at a reasonable and fair price for the condition that they are in.

Please note that any age estimate is as it says an estimate and could be wrong although I do try to be as accurate as possible with the aging.

Thank you for looking at my items, please come back often as I am adding new items on a regular basis.
