This unusual and somehwat charming item is a feather which has been hand-painted with the image of a three-funnel cruise ship at sea.  It dates, I think, to the 1920s - came with other shipping items dated to the 1910s, 1920s and 1930s.   The feather is painted on one side only.  The item measures 12cm x 2.8cm at the widest points and including the quill.  Interesting item for a collection.

The item is in a good plus condition overall. There are some small brown marks at the right hand end of the feather (these also show on the reverse) and some light brown marks close to the spine of the feather near the quill.  Some brown marks to quill on reverse.  A little untidiness to top edge at quill end.  Overall clean. It came with the white piece of card and I have left it that way.  Please check scans carefully as they help with condition too.
