2019 marks the 15th anniversary of TLV and the 60th anniversary of Datsun Bluebird. The Bluebird, which was active all over the world as a passenger car representing Japan, was also active in motor sports such as rallies, taking advantage of its robustness and solidity. A particularly well-known relatively recent model is the SSS-R, which is based on the 8th generation (U12 type). It was a competition specification car based on the U12 type that was equipped with the 4WD system "Athesa" for the first time.
The TLV-NEO is based on the U12 Bluebird early model, and has been modified to SSS-R by modifying the die-cast body. The interior, which is significantly different from the normal car, and many of the resin parts such as the stone guard have been newly manufactured to reproduce the initial model SSS-R.
Two types are available: the commercial coloring and the Team Calsonic specification that won the 1988 All Japan Rally Championship series.
