This handcrafted Stratocaster style Maple body is routed to standard specifications. The neck pocket is 55mm in width and 17mm deep. The body itself is 40mm deep and all the routed cavities for the electrical hardware has been treated with purpose made conductivity paint. The body is contoured to the traditional Strat type ergonomic design for comfort. 

The body has been burned and sanded back to provide the aged wood look and also to raise and highlight the grain. It has then been engraved with a traditional Aztec design before it's stained with a water based green wood stain. The body is then protected with 5-6 coats of Nitrocellulose Lacquer. This finish not only shields the body but not also highlights the beauty of the wood and gives the grain texture making the piece tactile as well as enhancing its beauty.

These bodies arrive pre-routed and are normally 3-piece body’s. Often these body's are just base-coated and then given a solid colour before being finished with poly or nitro. However, I feel the beauty of this wood is often overlooked and therefore decided to try and produce a product that will give a unique look to any project build at affordable prices. 

Although the designs are mine I am able to engrave anything onto the body if the customer has any ideas or designs in mind. This can include photographs however, due to the increase in time arranging placement of the design and, the increased DPI during the engraving process, this will increase the amount of time to create the body and may increase the price slightly.
