You are bidding on vintage late 1950's Scotch Brand Ten Inch Reel to Reel tape on a metal reel. The box indicates this is a 2400 foot length, but the reel is not quite full. It is probably about 2000 feet.

This tape is blank - as far as I can tell, it was never recorded on. Oddly, someone added red leader tape to it, which was definitely not part of this era of tapes. It's possible that the tape has been bulk erased, but there is no audible evidence of this. The tape is in excellent condition. The box has moderate wear, specifically, tearing on the sides and breaks in the corners of the tape box.
