Up for offer is a very clean vintage 1977 Canadian import version Marshall Master Model 50w MK2 Lead EL34 tube guitar amp head.

These amps are very hard to find even here in Canada!

This amp is amazing!

The Canadian import versions are different than the USA models because they came stock with EL34 power tubes instead of 6550 and they feature the old style toggle on/off switches where the USA versions had the plastic rocker switches. They also had lay down power transformers.

The amp is very clean for the age. Only mod is the two bright caps at the input have been lifted to make the amp less ice picky in the treble. Totally reversible, Just re-solder one lead from each cap and the amp is back to stock. The amp also has had the indicator on/off light replaced with a fender type light.

Mechanically the amp is in perfect working order with no issues. The amp has the original transformers. The amp is loaded with two Svetlana EL34 power tubes and brand new chinese 12AX7 in the V2 and V3 position. The V1 is a 1950's Raytheon black plate which gives the amp an amazing tone!

Cosmetically the amp is in amazing condition for the age. It has very little tolex wear. Knobs are not original but are a correct replacement.
