MLB Authenticated-Edwin Encarnación 410-FOOT HOME RUN (Career #416) off Tyler Alexander. Shipped USPS Priority. Buyer pays shipping and handling.

On August 11, 2020, the Chicago White Sox visited the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park. Gio Gonzalez started for the White Sox, while Tyler Alexander went for the Tigers.

In the top of the fourth, Edwin Encarnación led off. ALEXANDER HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw an 84.6-mph sinker for a ball. (Yes, that means Austin Romine also touched this ball!!) Alexander came back with another sinker for a ball. He threw an 84.6-mph slider for a called strike. On the fourth pitch with this ball, Alexander threw an 85.4-mph slider, and ENCARNACIÓN LAUNCHED THIS BALL 108.7 MPH AND 410 FEET FOR A HOME RUN TO LEFT FIELD!! It was Encarnación’s second home run of the season and, by my count, the 416th of his career. Encarnación ended his career with 424 home runs.

The White Sox won the game 8-4 behind hits by Tim Anderson, Yasmani Grandal, José Abreu, Eloy Jiménez, and, of course, Encarnación.

This ball is MLB Authenticated for Encarnación’s 410-foot homer off Alexander. The ball has a blue mark on it that looks like writing. I don’t know whether this means that Encarnación hit the ball so hard that writing on his bat transferred to the ball. You’ll have to be the judge. Please note that this ball does not come with a case. Thank you for purchasing!!
