MLB Authenticated - Eddie Rosario TRIPLE To Charlie Blackmon Off German Marquez. Shipped with USPS Ground Advantage. Buyer pays shipping and handling.

On May 18, 2017, the Colorado Rockies visited the Minnesota Twins at Target Field for a day-night doubleheader. German Marquez started for the Rockies, while Ervin Santana went for the Twins.

In the bottom of the fifth, Chris Gimenez led off by grounding out to Ian Desmond. Eddie Rosario then walked to the plate. Rosario and Marquez battled for nine pitches. On the tenth pitch, with the count full, MARQUEZ HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw a 95-mph four-seam fastball, and ROSARIO LAUNCHED THIS BALL 382 FEET TO CF AND EARNED HIS SECOND TRIPLE OF THE SEASON BEFORE CHARLIE BLACKMON GOT THIS BALL BACK INTO THE INFIELD!! This ball was then retired. Byron Buxton walked. Brian Dozier hit a sac fly to Gerardo Parra, scoring Rosario. Joe Mauer walked. But Miguel Sano ended the inning by popping out to Nolan Arenado. Unfortunately for the Twins, that was their only run of the game as Max Kepler, Robbie Grossman, and Kennys Vargas went hitless while Jorge Polanco only got one hit. The Twins lost to the Rockies 5-1 (although they were able to split the doubleheader behind a gem pitched by Jose Berrios in the nightcap).

This ball is MLB Authenticated for Rosario’s triple to Blackmon off Marquez. The ball comes with a case. Thank you for purchasing!!
