Looking for that cool "cherry on the top" item for your vintage Schwinn Stingray, Fastback, or Krate?
Here is a complete original SCHWINN bicycle Speedometer assembly which came along with a 26" 1960s Schwinn Corvette. This fits most any vintage Schwinn bike including Schwinn Corvette, American, Racer, Hollywood, Panther, Phantom, B6, DX, Stingray, Deluxe, Krate Series, (Apple, Orange, Lemon Peeler, Pea Picker, Cotton Picker, Grey Ghost etc) Deluxe Super Deluxe Stingray, J-33, Fenderless 5-speed, Typhoon, Fair Lady, Fastback, Manta Ray, Mini Twinn, Runabout) etc.
This includes the super cool Schwinn Speedometer head, speedo head mount, speedo cable, built in drive, and everything you see! The cable itself is approx 25" long. It goes up to 50 mph and has 687 miles on the odometer.
"Period Correct" items are always best on a vintage bike. A new item on a vintage bike looks out of place.
Please keep in mind this one is 50+ years old. It comes exactly as shown.
PLEASE NOTE! The drive works, the inner and outer cables are intact. When you turn the drive it turns the cable internally and turns the needle on the speedometer! (AKA tested and WORKS but could use a basic lubrication as its a little tacky from age) I got this one just like you see it. You almost NEVER see this style!
