If this was a more traditional form of broadcasting,
I'd say something oh so clever like;
This is the part where we pay the bills.

This first block of text will be pretty much the same
through all my listings, so it's a one and done thing.

I am, by way of introduction, your friendly neighborhood bottle digger.
Ebay provides a great way to make a few bucks,
for all those treasures that I just don't have room for.
I have a small and hard-fought collection of Maine bottles,
for they are my kryptonite.

High-quality photos with honest and accurate descriptions are
a total point of pride for me, check my feedback,
relax and bid or buy with confidence.

ALL items are 100% guaranteed to be as depicted and described.
In the unlikely event you find yourself dissatisfied for any reason,
I offer a 14 day return period, just return the item,
and I will promptly refund the full purchase price AND shipping.

When shipping glass, there's nothing like Priority.
Parcel rates are only 15% lower, and with Priority Mail
(actually carried between zones by FedEx)
you'll get FREE USPS delivery confirmation AND Insurance.

Shipping is another point of pride for me
(trust me, there's lots of them)

Buyers will NEVER pay more than actual shipping charges,
and multiple purchases will gladly be combined for your best shipping deal.

Glass will ALWAYS be shipped with more
than adequate bubble-wrap and loose-fill.
I've been shipping bottles for 2 decades,
I HOPE I've got it down by now.

PLEASE feel free to contact me with ANY and all questions.
I won't ignore your requests and will always answer as soon as possible
.
Too bad more sellers weren't like this

This is an excavated specimen with a touch of wear,
which is lit right up in the
larger than life pictures.

No chips, cracks or other damage, dug mint
condition with plenty of sparkle, displays excellent.

I get that it's just a humble shoe-polish bottle,
the red-headed stepchildren of the bottle
collecting world, but the color is unusual,
and it's the type of bottle that would
add pop to any display.

Circa 1880's, standing 4 & 5/8ths inches,
mold-blown by hand with a hand-tooled
top and lip in the single-ring style.

The edges are eased.
There's a deep sunken-panel on the front,
with three bold and crude lines of embossing.

The base has a small kick-up with embossed mold numbers.

Neck has bevel and a wide band of circular
hand-tooling mar.
Lip has subtle lateral thickness wave.

There's some crude surface texture.

The lateral thickness wave up the panel
edges is marked and pretty cool.
I caught this with some limited success
in the pictures.

Embossed in three bold and crude lines;

ECLIPSE
FRENCH SATIN GLOSS
DRESSING

An attractive utility bottle, dug mint shape,
rationally priced or low starting bid,
never a reserve, and you'll never pay more than actual shipping,
which includes FREE USPS Delivery Confirmation, AND Insurance.

THANK YOU sincerely for your time!
