Intended use:

The Colgate(R) Optic White(R) Professional system is intended for at-home teeth whitening. The full at-home procedure includes 35 applications, or 3-7 treatments of 5-10 days each.

Indications for use:

Colgate® Optic White® Professional Take-Home Teeth Whitening Kit is recommended for healthy natural teeth and gums. This device will only whiten natural teeth. It will not whiten dental work such as crowns, veneers, fillings or dentures.

Important Safeguards

When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

Danger:

Flammable. Keep away from heat or flames. Do not use while eating, drinking, or smoking.

Do not use while bathing.

Do not place or store a charging case or AC adapter where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.

Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.

Do not reach for a product that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.

Warnings:

Use only a certified AC adapter or other USB power source with USB outlet and output voltage rating of 5V dc and output current rating of at least 250mA.

USB power sources must only be used in dry locations away from water.

AC adapters and chargers should always be completely dry when connecting to power.

Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on, or near children or persons with disabilities.

If irritation of the gums or mouth occurs, discontinue use and consult a dentist.

Persons with compromised circulation or gum issues should not use this product.

Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

Never operate this product if it is not working properly or has been damaged. Contact Consumer Affairs for troubleshooting or replacement.

Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

Never use while sleeping or drowsy.

This product has no user serviceable parts.

This product is for household use only.

Some people may experience tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort when using whitening products. This discomfort is temporary and not harmful. If significant tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort develops and persists after use, consult your dentist or physician before continuing use.

Use ONLY the provided complete set of enclosed Colgate® Optic White® Professional Take-Home Teeth Whitening Kit contents or any Optic White® whitening pen for touch-up.

Do not use if the package is damaged.

Keep out of the reach of children. Products containing peroxides are not recommended for use by children under 12 years of age.

Cautions

Avoid direct contact of the product with the gums and/or salivary flow.

Do not swallow. If more than the amount used for whitening is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or call a Poison Control Center immediately.

Avoid contact with eyes. If the product contacts the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

Whitening serum that comes into contact with the skin may cause temporary skin irritation and/or whitening. To prevent this, wash your hands with soap and water after use.

Avoid serum from getting on your clothes, other fabric materials, or hard surfaces as discoloration may occur.

Do not use on loose teeth, restorations, implants, or braces.
