The May issue of Young Guitar features a special feature on the cover and opening pages of Metallica. A 100-page summary of the past and present of the strongest metal icon, who will release his latest work "72 SEASONS" on April 14th.

The main topic is “Metallica “Strongest Riff” General Election 2023”. Last month, YG conducted a general survey on its official website and SNS asking, "Tell us your three favorite Metallica riffs!" In addition, the top of the "strongest riff" has been decided with comments from over 50 artists and related parties, and the voting results for all 107 songs have finally been announced! Of these, the top 30 songs are introduced with guitar scores and explanations of playing techniques. We also have a lot of reader comments sent at the time of voting.

In addition, commentary just before the release of the new work, journalist Masanori Ito talks about the truth about the band "Metallica Konjaku Monogatari", and an interview with Dream Theater's John Petrucci, who is said to have been influenced by the music.
