The base of the cartridge finger rest was about to break. Also, there appeared to be two cracks on the exterior of the replacement needle.

However, we were able to install/remove and play as usual using the following equipment.

I raised and lowered the cartridge using an arm lifter instead of using a finger rest on the cartridge.

The finger rest is broken, cracked, and torn, so I will mark it as junk.

It is possible that the finger hook may completely break and tear due to vibration during transportation.
