The kaleidoscope is a 3 mirror system and in excellent working condition and provides a mesmerising display of colours and patterns.
Condition of the wooden egg is good with an attractive patternation but the lacquering on the brass surfaces is worn in places. (see photos)
The wooden egg has a lovely smooth finish and is mounted on a sturdy brass pedestal. The kaleidoscope measures approximately 9.5cm in height and approx 4cm in diameter.
