Vintage Japanese Wooden Serving Tray

This is a Japanese vintage wooden serving tray, or Obon. This square lacquer serving tray has a dark brown color. It is made of wood and has several coats of varnish for protection. This tray features a colorful floral design. It comes in its original paper box.

Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
