The screen is broken when the tablet was dropped while not in its case. I've since gotten a new tablet thru Verizon.  This tablet is locked thru Verizon so it does have a bad esn but can still be used with wifi.  The tablet still works if you use hmdi to type c cable I still use it to watch movies.  After I transfer  my information I will do a factory  reset on the tablet.  If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
