Bemerkung | Uses AD35 (LT) and B126 (HT) batteries rather than the B141 combo of virtually identical chassis/PCB Sky Baronet. However the tuning on the Sky Baronet is Slow-motion type and this model is direct 180 degree large knob with scale printed on it. Basically PCB version of Sky Baby. The BEREC Wizard is the almost identical export version. The panel is plywood covered with "Vynair" cloth similar to the Sky Baronet entire case cover, which is porous for loudspeaker. Main cabinet is mix of Hardboard and Plywood covered in Tan "Morocco Leather" style cloth related to older Rexine/Leatherette materials. These design features coupled with a PCB results in a lighter Attaché / Valise radio than most earlier UK models from Ever Ready, Vidor, Ferranti, GEC, Marconi/HMV etc. Weight excludes batteries and original price excluded Purchase Tax.
