Letter dated 30th June 1936 relating to Lord Leverhulme, Unilever and Port Sunlight.

Single sheet, type written, hand signed by H.A. Thompson with the names Leverhulme, Sir Percy Nunn and Newfoundland Co (Paper) written in by hand.

The letter has a Danes Inn House, Strand WC2 (London) printed lettehead and is from a Dr A E Ellis of Finchley Road London. The Doctor writes about confusing Bourneville and Cadbury with Port Sunlight and lists the fees paid to chief chemists including - Unilever (£3000 a year and a seat on the board), J Lyons and Co - £1500 a year and a seat, Bovril - £600 a year and British Portland Cement - £500 a year and a staff of eight. 

10" x 8". A couple minor dog ears, just yellowing to blank margins and folded as originally issued. See photos for condition.
