On offer is an almost Antique (?} Royal Albert Bone China footed teacup and saucer, Torquay pattern.  Reminiscent of the Victorian style, the teacup and saucer were made in England around 1927.   The cup has a scalloped lip outlined in gold, and there is also gold edging and band around the foot of the cup, and on the dainty handle.  The top of the cup has a border of small flowers and leaves set off by a lower border of yellow tassels.  On the body of the cup is an intermittent display of a pink rose, buds and leaves and a spray of yellow flowers.  The same pattern is continued on the scalloped saucer, which also has an overlaid gold edging.  The Royal Albert logo is printed on the bottom of both the cup and saucer, please see photos.  For its age both the cup and saucer are both in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing that I can see, with no discoloration on the inside of the cup, please see photos.  A lovely little cup, just waiting for afternoon tea, or to be displayed as a prized addition to your collection.
