Vintage Barbie "Velvet Venture" #1488 (1969), Rare Variation, Mattel 1960's

DRESS

Barbie's original pink and gold snakeskin mini dress is in excellent condition. The material is bright, bold and clean; stain free. The metallic gold has not lost its luster. The gold trim along the collar intact with a few flyaway gold threads flared from the actual trim. Each "hook" and "eye" (two) are secure and functioning. Free of repairs.

COAT

Barbie's RARE variation "Velvet Venture" neon and lime green velvet coat is in excellent condition. The coat is bright and clean; non faded. The material is free of signs of handling; plush. What makes this particular coat different is the block coloring, the shade of velvet differs on the sleeves than the shade of velvet on the two front panels of the coat (lime green and neon green). The collar also differs from the original coat released, this variation has a more bold green than the light green on the original. The lining has block coloring as well, two shades of green tafetta. All gold trim is intact.

The "hook" and "eye" are secure and functioning. Free of repairs.

SHOES

The original ginal neon green translucent pilgrims are in excellent condition. No flaws noted. The left shoe is stamped JAPAN.

HANGER

The green translucent Barbie filigree hanger is included. Excellent condition.

THE BOOKLET IS NOT INCLUDED.

This variation will sure stand out in any Barbie collection!

Each purchase is individually wrapped,  if purchasing more than one item, a refund will be given for the difference in the cost of shipping. All items will be safely packed and shipped together.
