Appointed Silversmith to the King.
Displayed at the Universal Exposition 1889 winning the Gold medal, for brilliance in design and execution.
In 1931 at the Colonial Exposition, the firm won an unprecedented 10 medals.
Period engraved monogram for the original owner.
Hallmarked as shown.
This Edmond Tetard sterling (950) sterling teapot is 9 1/2 inches handle to spout
and 7 inches tall the complete set 40 standard ounces.
In very, very fine condition.
The teapot interior perfectly clean as if little / never used.
Retains original hand carved detail, rich silver patina.
Stands firm on table.
Cover closes flush.
