Beatles - Butcher Cover LP

 1966 mono original "First State" "Butcher" cover LP. This one never had the second (trunk) slick pasted over it. This is an UNOPENED Scranton issue (factory #3 on back cover). There are two "breathe holes" detectable in the front shrink wrap. This sealed copy has the olive green Capitol inner sleeve visible at the opening.

Absolutely gorgeous condition example with only two detectable minor flaws - 1. Some creasing at the top right corner (visible on the back as well), which was likely caused at the factory. 2. Very small (1/4" x 1/4") water stain at top left corner (visible on the back as well) which happened due to a tiny thumb tack size hole in the shrink wrap at that corner. That's it!

First state butcher covers are extremely rare and sealed examples rarely are offered for sale. A beautiful condition mono example sold at auction in 2017 for $57,500!
