NOTE: this is NOT the MSS410 Series Loudspeaker System that includes both the Midrange Drivers and the MS10 HF Tweeter Drivers. this component package does NOT include the MS10 Tweetersnot to lose hope though. see article: http://www.my-acoustic.com/Audio/MS10/macintosh_ms10.htm. it appears that the MS10 is NOT the ideal tweeter match for this MAC System.
A better match would be something closer to the old school MB QUART Tweeters such as the one included with the the QLINE MB QUART QSD 216 6.5 2-Way System. This High End System (no longer in production) utilized a Titanium Dome MB Quart QTD25 6 Ohm Tweeter and pushes the frequency ceiling to 32kHz as compared to the MAC MS10 Tweeter which peaks at only 20kHz.
provided you have Hi-Def System Playback capability the higher ceiling threshold of the QTD25 would be more beneficial. the QTD25 is designed to operate at a 12dB/Oct LP Slope and a 18dB/Oct HP Slope and a crossover frequency set to 2400Hz.
