Sony Handycam Vision Hi8 CCD-TRV78E PAL Camcorder, With Accessories.

This camcorder was purchased and used by our family in the 90s- it has been stowed away for quite some time away from moisture and dirt. The camera has been tested and is fully functional, including the remote, buttons, mechanical features, viewfinders, and lights. The unit shows signs of use but given its age, it is in rather good condition. I have done my best to highlight cosmetics which can be seen within the image gallery. Note that the battery does not hold a charge but can be used with the included original AC adapter.

As such, the following items should be noted prior to purchasing. Again, these imperfections can be viewed in the image gallery:

Small blemish on the silver paint around the lens

No visible scratches on the lens, but it could use a good cleaning

LCD pop out viewfinder shows small signs of wear

Internal viewfinder on the bottom right corner shows signs of possible dust (note that the camera didn’t pick up the image due to the frequency difference of the screen and camera, it works very well).

Minor scratches on the body and remote

The battery does not hold a charge but the camera works via the included original adapter

The side hand strap has been removed some time ago and is not included

Included is the camera, lens cover, neck band, charger, battery, remote, three sealed tapes, and a cleaning tape.
